I tried it multiple times, but it can’t be a data issue, as I merely duplicated what I had done on my laptop locally before, which worked fine there. However, I received the below error message and the software wasn’t able to generate an index in the final step and so failed.
While running the software remotely in version 3.0.17 (as someone in the thread suggested using an older version), I was able to open and create a project.
I did however gain access to out institute’s perpetual educational Pix4Dmapper license and have tried using that as well. I will try and contact our IT specialist to see whether he knows more and if I can have a look next time I’m at the institute. Since I’m currently in home office, I don’t have access to the actual computer.
